Skill Development for Sustainable Employment- SDSE, Ilam.

Project Background:- Skill Development for Sustainable Employment (SDSE) is the non –profit making project, which is funded by European Union, managed by British Council and in support of Dakchyata, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Ilam is Implementing the project.
Project locates its program in Ilam district, covering all the local governments namely Ilam Municipality, Mai Municipality, Deumai Municipality, Suryodaya  Municipality, Maijogmai Rural Municipality, Mangsebung Rural Municipality, Phakphokthum Rural Municipality, Rong  Rural Municipality, ChulaaChuli Rural Municipality, Sandakpur Rural Municipality.

The  project aims at providing technical and vocational education and trainings to youths, newly entrants workforce, existing workers , migrant workers, unemployed and other excluded groups of Ilam district solely for the sustainable employment generation in the hospitality sector generating skilled and certified human resources through the implementation of the project endorsing semi apprenticeship and employment(SAE) model ensuring innovate public private partnership (PPP) with the relevant stakeholders.

Main Activities of the Project:

Technical and vocational training on hospitality management (Room Attendant, Hotel Assistant, Waiter/Waitress),General Cook, Continental Cook, House Keeping Cleaner, Receptionist cum Cashier and re-skilling causal workers on general cook.
